About the Role
For our client we are looking for an experienced Senior Pricing Actuary.
Responsibilities
-Drive the development our suite of Pricing and Portfolio management solutions.
-Own delivery of solution to our two pilot markets.
-Support solution definition and mapping.
-Own and develop the code base in R or Python.
-Work in close collaboration with the pilot countries to build and implement solution.
-Support outreach to other units and scaling of solution to additional markets.
-Work with Application team to implement system changes in support of Pricing solutions.
-Work with our B2B2E marketing and customer teams to track success of the platform and identify opportunities to improve the customer experience.
-Own the end to end delivery of data analytics solutions, covering the whole process from problem identification, solution and technology design and solution delivery.
-Collaborate with the data engineering team and other cross-functional teams to collect, analyze, integrate, and pipeline data.
-Present insights and findings to project members and senior stakeholders.
Requirements
-Five or more years of experience working in an actuarial, data science, or similar quantitative role.
-Knowledge of insurance products, pricing, and experience analysis, preferably in group or corporate insurance.
-Strong IT and programming skills including 2+ years of experience in programming in either R or Python. Experience with both is a plus.
-Practical experience using statistical models like GLMs to solve business problems.
-Familiarity with software developer toolkit (including Git and DevOps) is desirable.
-Excellent written and spoken English.
