It operates data centres, bank systems, POS terminals and HW (servers and PC) and is responsible for development, implementation, support and servicing of banking software and its operations in Central and Eastern Europe.
About the Role
We are looking for technical manager who is still in touch with development for the banking sector.
Responsibilities
Take technical end-to-end responsibility for our Invest Manager and Insurance applications
Actively develop and enhance our solutions using Java / Spring Boot, .NET, React and Angular
Manage and continuously improve applications throughout their technical lifecycle
Ensure application stability, maintainability and technical sustainability
Design and evolve APIs, integrations, microservices and event-driven architectures
Work with Kafka and distributed systems
Coordinate technical dependencies and collaborate with development teams, analysts, testers, architects and infrastructure partners
Drive technical improvements and proactively address technical risks and lifecycle topics
Use and promote AI-assisted development where it creates meaningful value
Contribute hands-on when technical challenges need to be solved
Requirements
Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
Strong experience with React and experience with Angular
Strong experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core
Experience with microservices, distributed systems and Kafka
Good understanding of APIs, integrations and event-driven architecture
Experience in application ownership or technical application lifecycle management
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum
A strong hands-on mindset combined with the willingness to take end-to-end responsibility
A structured, pragmatic and solution-oriented way of working
Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proficiency in English
