About the Role
Our team is at the forefront of analytics for Reinsurance spanning the entire breadth of our business. We build analytical products that focus on everything from Contract Wording to Natural Catastrophes, enabling the company to accurately manage our risks.
Joining us, you will learn the technologies that are used in modern data solutions with a focus on cloud technologies and distributed systems, but also gain experience in the application of big data techniques to solve complex problems on real data, in a collaborative environment with colleagues from international offices

Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership to a small team of engineers
- Design data products in collaboration with Product Owners and other Engineering teams
- Implement production ready data solutions
- Ensure the reliability, quality, and optimal performance of our data products
Requirements
- If you possess traits and experience that match most of the below, we’d love to hear from you:
- Excellent engineering skills and proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
- Expertise in distributed computing frameworks (e.g. Spark)
- Experience with system design and cloud infrastructure
Nice to Have Skills
- Working knowledge of advanced analytics (i.e. Machine Learning, Statistics)
- Experience in PySpark and Azure
