About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Angular developer who understands how to write clear and maintainable code but also has a solid understanding of architectural best practices, modern frameworks, and the importance of creating intuitive user experiences that make a real impact.
As a Frontend Engineer, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create exceptional user experiences that power our insurance platforms from end to end.
Responsibilities
Develop and review code that meets our high standards for quality and maintainability
Debug TypeScript, CSS, and HTML exceptions and profile performance issues
Integrate REST APIs in a secure and typesafe way
Shape architecture by contributing to key decisions and documentation that guide our technical direction
Stay current with emerging technologies and Generative AI developments to continuously improve our development efficiency
Collaborate closely with user experience experts, product owners, and requirements engineers
Build end-to-end user engagement platforms spanning the entire insurance value chain
Requirements
Proficiency in software development across the entire software delivery lifecycle
Strong knowledge of Angular, HTML, and CSS
Experience building and packaging modules with Webpack and NodeJS
Comfort working with large and established codebases in an IDE environment
Understanding of frontend architecture and best practices
Nice to Have Skills
Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
Knowledge of state management solutions (NgRx, RxJS)
Familiarity with UI/UX design principles
Experience with automated testing frameworks for Angular
Background in insurance or financial services technology
Knowledge of accessibility standards and implementation
