About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Network Department Manager to lead and further scale our network engineering organization. In this role, you will shape the evolution of a 20+ engineer networking organization with years of networking history and with strong position on the market, delivering enterprise infrastructure solutions to complex customer environments.
You will combine engineering leadership, people management, and operational ownership to ensure high delivery quality, operational stability, and continuous development of our networking capabilities. The engineering organization is structured around capability domains such as Enterprise Networking, Security, Data Center Networking, and Network Operations.
Responsibilities
· Lead and develop a team of 20–25 network engineers organized around capability domains
· Directly manage Capability Leads responsible for key networking competencies
· Ensure successful delivery of complex enterprise and public infrastructure projects
· Maintain high operational standards across managed services and customer environments
· Act as the escalation point for critical technical or delivery challenges
· Continuously improve engineering processes, delivery predictability, and operational efficiency
· Work closely with CTO and Presales leadership on the evolution of the networking portfolio
· Provide engineering insight and field feedback for technology and solution decisions
· Ensure engineering readiness for new technologies introduced by presales teams
· Promote adoption of technical standards, reusable architectures, and engineering best practices
· Manage department resource planning, utilization, and delivery efficiency

Requirements
· 5+ years of experience in networking or infrastructure engineering
· 5+ years of leadership experience managing engineering teams
· Experience managing teams of 10+ engineers
· Background in a systems integrator, service provider, or enterprise infrastructure environment
· Strong understanding of enterprise networking environments (LAN/WAN/WiFi), network security and segmentation, and data center networking architectures
· Experience working with technologies from leading networking and security vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, and Aruba
· Ability to lead technical discussions and make informed engineering decisions
· Strong people leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
