About the Role
We are looking for a business analyst to complete our business and data architecture practice. We help the business to steer away from risks that could destabilise us and identify risks worth taking. We create risk transparency applying our knowledge and experience and bring an independent, global and long-term perspective.
Responsibilities
In this hands-on role, you will be a reliable partner to our architecture team and all RM functions. You will support them in taking on new challenges and building a future-ready architecture. Key tasks will include:
• Data modelling & information management: Understanding, structuring, sounding and maintaining data requirements
• Drive a common data management approach for automated data procurement & distribution that fosters overcoming both current and future challenges by building and maintaining our RM data platform (RM data pools).
• Foster a positive relationship with data owners, application owners, business and project teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Clearly articulate a value proposition to end-users and higher management by acting as a bridge between business and technical audience also respecting budget & effort implications.
• Following our RM data strategy by advising projects regarding efficient re-use, technological feasibility and relevant principles (architectural frameworks, methods, design patterns, tools and standards).
Requirements
• Master's degree in a relevant field as a software engineer, business architect, data architect or in a profession related to data management, data automation, requirement engineering, business analysis or data modelling.
• Dedicated experience in some of the following areas: business analysis, process modelling, product ownership, system integration, data automation, application development, risk management, reporting and BI (e.g. PowerBI), data platforms and data stores (relational and NoSQL), full-stack development, micro-service architectures, cloud environments, agile team setups.
• You enjoy working in a culture with complementary and highly skilled teams across multiple locations and divisions.

Nice to Have Skills
• Work experience in a profession related to data management, data automation, requirement engineering, business analysis or data modelling.
• Previous experience in the insurance industry or financial industry.
