About the Role

We are looking for experienced DevOps Engineer/Manager

Responsibilities

The DevOps manager acts as the right hand of the Head of Software Quality Assurance and supports the design of our client DevOps transformation. He is functionally leading DevOps engineers, coordinating ongoing activities, and advocating DevOps principles at our client main Software Hub in Slovakia and throughout the whole group.

Requirements

- Support the design and maintenance of DevOps transformation strategy and roadmap
- Design and document infrastructure to be used by software development teams
- Cooperate closely with QA Manager and Product Security Manager to align planned activities and roadmaps
- Design and document continuous monitoring concepts and leading its implementation
- Design and document infrastructure as code concept and consult its implementation
- Lead implementation and maintenance of infrastructure used by software development teams
- Lead implementation and maintenance of generic build pipeline stages and blocks
- Coordinate integration of quality and security aspects into build process and pipelines
- Advocate DevOps practices
- Provide guidance and consultancy for SW development teams in DevOps area
- Perform periodic DevOps adoption audits
- Coordinate DevOps related activities with internal ICT
- Monitor and evaluate SW development KPIs and analyze improvement potential
- Continuously evaluate industry standards, tools and best practices in SW Development and DevOps area
- Lead internal DevOps team and participate on hiring new DevOps engineers
- Evaluate and present ROI of identified improvements and tools to DevOps transformation stakeholders and project leaders
