About the Role
We are looking for an experienced BI Specialist to join our international program and reinsurance area that will be responsible for the translation of the business requirements into the implementation of Qlik Sense reports and consulting with the business customers where various options are available.
Responsibilities
As Business Intelligence Specialist, your main responsibilities will include:
Contribution and collaboration in the definition of the business requirements and business specifications
Evaluate options and translate business requirements into technical specifications
Develop and maintain Qlik Sense applications
Consult initiate and share best practice within different business users / customers
Coordinate with and monitor external service providers to implement required changes / new requests
Train business users in how to run reports and how to become a power user
Produce ad-hoc reports as per business requirement
Constantly review and improve quality of reports and of data model
Requirements
As Business Intelligence Specialist, your skills and experience will ideally include:
Higher education in economics, mathematics or computer science
3 - 5 years experience in developing reports and scripting with Qlik Sense (or similar BI tools)
Knowledge in database and data modelling concepts
Qlik Sense (or similar BI tools)
SQL scripting or similar database languages
Personality to be client oriented, team player, flexible, strong communicator
Business Know-how in Insurance market or other financial service areas
English: fluent in writing and verbal communication
