Our client is one of the leading providers of telecommunication and IT services in the Czech republic and worldwide.

About the Role

Work in agile team for german customer. Solution will be developed in Java or Python, therefore you must be familiar with at least one of these programming languages. Experience with ETL tools and legacy relational databases is welcome.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for designing and developing big data solutions based on Hadoop and surrounding ecosystem (Spark, Impala, Hive etc.).

Requirements

Familiar with Java or Python programming language
Experience with Relational Databases - design
Familiar with SQL (Oracle PL/SQL is nice to have)
Experience with Linux environment
Experience with Hadoop filesystem (at least basics)
Fluent English

Nice to Have Skills

Experience with Spark, Impala, Hive, Oozie
Experience with ETL tools – Talend, Informatica, Abinitio
German language
